FAQs

How long will my order take?

All items are made to order, we don’t keep stock of garments. So if for example it’s a day dress or skirt, they will normally take 1-2 weeks to be made and despatched (plus delivery time) unless you are contacted otherwise.

Special occasion dresses usually take 2-4 weeks as the fabrics are ordered in stock especially. Some dresses may take longer but they will state this in the product description. This is the time for a garment to be dispatched, shipping times will be on top of this.

Where is my item made?

All items are handmade in the UK at English Country Vintage HQ in Leicestershire.

What if I want something different? Can I make a custom order?

Certainly, if for example you like a style of something but would like to see it in another fabric, print or colour you’ve seen please do contact us as we can easily make a custom item if it’s feasible.

I need an item urgently, would that be possible?

All items are made to order, some items are possible to have made within a shorter time frame depending if the fabrics are in stock. This would incur a rush order fee of £15.  Please contact us at info@englishcountryvintage.co.uk

What are the delivery options?

Postage within the UK

All products are made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for daywear and 2-4 weeks for special occasion garments unless otherwise stated.

For small packages we send Recorded Delivery, for the special occasion dresses we send Special Next Day Delivery, but please remember the dresses do take between 2-4 weeks to be made to order first.

Postage in Europe

All products are made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for daywear and 2-4 weeks for special occasion garments unless otherwise stated.

For smaller packages we use Royal Mail’s International Tracked and Signed or International Signed service. For packages over 2Kg we use Parcelforce.

Allow 2-4 weeks after processing.

Postage Worldwide

All products are made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for daywear and 2-4 weeks for special occasion garments unless otherwise stated.

The cost of worldwide delivery is £15. We cannot determine time of delivery.

If you would like it quicker please contact us and we can advise other shipping methods and prices.

What about taxes and duties for parcels shipping outside of the UK?

Parcels are in free circulation within the European Union. For any deliveries outside of the EU we can not be held responsible for any local/state taxes or duties required by your country or state.

(Please note: we cannot confirm that the taxes displayed will be 100% correct, however they should give you a rough idea of costs).

What methods of payment do you accept?

All online orders are placed via PayPal, you can do this by using your Paypal account or if you do not have an account please choose the option to pay via card once you have been transferred to the Paypal site).

My Order hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

If you are ordering from overseas, items can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Within the UK they should be received within 3 working days of dispatch. If you have been waiting longer than this, please contact us.

Returns

Thank you for ordering from English Country Vintage. If you are not 100% satisfied with your product we will be happy to help you either return it for a full refund, or exchange it.

However, any dresses made to order to the measurements which you have supplied are NON returnable unless faulty.

You must notify us at info@englishcountryvintage.co.uk within 10 business days after be returned to us in the same perfect condition it was received, without signs of it having been worn and you will have to pay for the shipping back to us via a SIGNED FOR service, for example recorded delivery but must be within 28days.

If the item is returned damaged or soiled we reserve the right to refuse the exchange.

After we receive and inspect the garments, we will issue a refund.

What are your sizes like?

We do try to adhere to  standard UK sizing, but please always check the sizing guide to see which size would best suit you.

I own a store/boutique and would be interested in stocking English Country Vintage, how do I go about this?
